Hey friends,
Just a short update here. We decided that splitting the focus of our community over too many games is probably a bad idea given how small we are still, so for now I think we'll be featuring the three Blizzard titles WoW, SC2 and D3. (The old featured forums will remain active just in case you want to post there too!)
That said, our main focus will be World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria. We'll have a Beta section of the forums set up soon (
http://www.noobhero.com/wow/m/2239121/viewforum/1122916 ) so please go share your opinions, screenshots, videos and information there! Many of us will be getting Beta invites and I imagine we have quite a lot to say on the subject. I know I do! :)

The new 1.1 Update for Star Wars: The Old Republic is coming a lot sooner then anyone probably expected. The content being released is much more then I expected at least and I am so excited to see the new flashpoint they have coming with this update. Here's what BioWare had to say about the new Flashpoint and a provided video teaser: "In addition to the expanded Operation, we are introducing a brand new Flashpoint entitled ‘Kaon Under Siege’. This Flashpoint takes you and up to three of your allies to the planet of Kaon, which has been decimated by a mysterious outbreak of the Rakghoul virus. Fighting your way through hordes of the twisted monstrosities, you will have to locate a small band of survivors and learn the truth behind the outbreak. ‘Kaon Under Siege’ offers players the chance to experience a gripping new story while earning new gear!" The 1.1 update will also extend the already existing "Karagga’s Palace” Operation by THREE TIMES!! Here's what BioWare had to say about "Karagga’s Palace”: "Playing through the expanded Hutt Hospitality Operation will test you and your allies’ skills against Karagga’s private army of bounty hunters and battle Droids before culminating in a massive final battle! Making your way through Karagga’s palace will reward you with powerful new gear, and even more extravagant rewards for those who take on the Operations in hard mode!" BioWare provided a http://www.swtor.com/gameupdates that will be updated with new information up until launch of patch. BioWare has also assured us a number of bug fixes will be implemented. Well I've been holding off some PvP writing this news article for the new game update BioWare is bringing us.. This is the NoobHero Update. A monthly article about what’s
going on in our new gaming community. This article also serves as the 2011
NoobHero Year’s End Update. Thanks for visiting us and checking in! We hope you
had a wonderful holiday and an excellent year of gaming in 2011.
2011 has been a great year for our community. The
NoobHero project turned 1 year old on July 29th, 2011 (Read More)!
Torg and Jaxic have been hard at work creating and editing the site so that it’s
the best we can make it. We have put many hours into it, and we will continue
to do so for as long as our awesome users keep coming back! We hope to see many
more community members join NoobHero in the coming year, now that we have a new
and well established website. We have come a long way! This year’s highlights
include the redoing of our website, the sponsorship of our League of Legends
team, the creation of a Minecraft Server and the launching of our Star Wars:

So, a little more about our new community... Our site has
averaged over 100 unique views per day (currently around 150), for a total of
over 21,500 since our launch in late July. We have attracted 120 registered
users as well! We hope you’ll find a game to play to share and get involved
with our community. I can truthfully say that our members have a knack for
creating friendships and a fun gaming atmosphere when we get together to
explore whatever game we’re playing.
We want to inform the community and new visitors who may
be interested, that we are looking for Community Contributors, News Article
Writers, Forum Moderators and of course many more awesome community members! If
you are interested, please contact Torg or another administrator for more
information. We also want to let you know that we are in the process of
offering guild sponsorship and forum hosting services, as well as access to our
community ventrilo and mumble servers. Contact Torg if you are interested in
learning more!
2011 has been a great year for NoobHero, but I know that 2012
will be exponentially better. I can’t wait to see how our community grows.

Hello NoobHero!
So there’s no doubt that the biggest recent news in our
community is the launch of Star Wars: The Old Republic and the formation of our
Imperial guild "Foundation" on the US-East "Anchorhead” PvP server!
If you're looking for a guild, you should join us on
Anchorhead! Additionally, if you're interested in discussing SWTOR with us, go
check out or SWTOR forum and start a topic. We would love to discuss which
aspects of the game interest you, and offer advice, help and opinions from our
veteran MMO gamers.
Our guild is off to a good start (no thanks to BioWare’s
release schedule…) and we’ll be organizing class leaders and guild officer
positions in the coming weeks. We hope to be raiding or preparing to raid in

has entered the World of Minecraft!
Our veteran community member and moderator "Jeto”
recently set up a survival server for us (complete with great mods) to play on!
Several community members have already built some awesome stuff on the server,
and we have started to explore the endless landscape of pixilated awesomeness!
:D
Jaxic has built a life size super Mario level (complete
with lava and secret rooms) for visitors to run through! I’ve died several
times trying to get through it, and can say from experience it’s pretty cool. :
)
Torg’s Castle is still only 20% built, but it towers over
the surrounding area!
Jeto and Mikanee have been hard at work as well with
Jaxic and Torg to create some secreted towns and castles in the wilderness of
the server. We’ve had a lot of fun, and welcome you to visit the server and
help out!

Hello NoobHero!
Due to the amount of activity in the SWTOR, Minecraft and
League of Legends segments of our community, I must admit that StarCraft and
World of Warcraft have been neglected!
Both of these games are widely loved and played by our
community members but we do not have an official presence in either game at the
moment. We would like to expand the community with a NA WoW guild or NA
StarCraft2 clan, so if you are interested in either starting a guild or clan or
joining our community with an existing guild or clan, please contact an
administrator! We can offer a supportive community, publicity and a reliable
website to host guild and clan forums. We also have voice servers for member
use!
Also, if you or someone you know offers (star craft)
coaching services or is recruiting for their clan or guild, then inform them
that they are welcome to post a recruitment or advertising thread in our
forums. NoobHero currently gets around 150 unique hits a day and that number is
expected to go up quite a bit in the near future!

So we've decided on a name for our ToR guild! Thank you for voting on facebook and in the forums
The pre-launch guild program is our "Plan A" for making a guild in ToR. If we get imported to a server we don't like, we'll try to make sure we start a new guild on a different server asap. Information will be posted here regarding that when the time comes.
Torg and Jaxic should both be starting off in early access on the 15th, and we will try to have everything set up for those of you in early access and definitely those who are playing at launch.
